The Centre of Urban Deviation is a Dublin-based, consultative think tank created in 2006. Its core mission is to provide non-traditional solutions to defunct or deteriorating urban space. With traditional city spaces becoming re politicized, demarcated and divided, the CUD attempts to provide city goers with new ways of visualizing and traversing urban space. CUD is an affiliate of HUMAN RESOURCES and has invited Bridget Barnhart to participate with them for City of Ideas. Recent CUD projects include a colaboration with Janice Feighery for her stylepress publication as part of Breaking Ground, Ballymun. The CUD accepts applications for urban interventions and can be reached at urbandeviants@gmail.com. |
