Fancy chicken breeders and judges were invited into the gallery space to show their birds and discuss the motivations and concerns surrounding their practice.

The project was a response to a regional movement towards slow food and localism in agriculture, that many art groups, urban gardeners, and city planners have been working to promote. This was an opportunity for these disparate groups to discuss and learn about their similar practices and view some exquisite birds.
